Little Lucky Star of the 1970s: Helping My Bully Foster Father Get Rich in the Mountains

[The 1970s] [Mountain Foraging] [Adored Little Girl] [Affinity with All Beasts] [Gruff Man Raises a Child] [Face-Slapping] [Hilarious Journey to Wealth]

In 1976, heavy snow sealed off the mountains. Three-and-a-half-year-old Suisui was cruelly abandoned in the old forest by her own parents because they favored boys.

The whole village thought she was doomed, but wild rabbits became her foot warmers, and a fierce wolf pack huddled together to form a natural furnace!

Shen Zhan, a retired hunter feared by the whole village and nicknamed the Living Yama for his scarred face, carried her home and cherished her like the apple of his eye.

From then on, the gruff hunter's family began a mountain-foraging life of unbelievable prosperity.

A squirrel leads the way, and they dig up a century-old wild ginseng with five leaves!

A wild boar charges in, only to smash into a tree and deliver itself on the spot, all three hundred pounds of it!

Beasts bring gifts: a sika deer offers antlers, and mountain birds serve as sentries. The old forests of Changbai Mountain become little Suisui's private backyard!

Shen Zhan sells his game for cash and buys grain on the black market. The first big red-brick house in the village goes up, and every meal is rich with fine rice and meat!

Just as the Shen family starts thriving, her birth parents who abandoned her and the village's vile women grow green with envy and show up to make a scene, demanding an explanation.

Shen Zhan cocks his hunting rifle, and Suisui gives a sweet little call. The beasts roar with their heads held high!

The vile bunch flee the old forest in terror and weep, clutching their heads in regret!

(See how this adorable lucky girl helps her gruff veteran dad thrive through mountain foraging in Changbai Mountain! Pure feel-good fun, no angst, and plenty to enjoy!)
