Little Lucky Star of the 1970S: I Got Rich Hunting in the Mountains with My Bullying Uncle

[Period setting + adorable child + lucky fortune + brawny uncle + mountain and sea foraging + face-slapping of the despicable + cozy farming] Three-and-a-half-year-old Sui Sui is called a jinx by her own mother, who cruelly abandons her at the village entrance in the snow to die. Lu Zheng, the feared bully whom the whole village avoids, ignores everyone's ridicule and carries the frozen little girl back to his drafty, dilapidated hut. Everyone waits for the uncle and niece to starve to death in the bitter winter. But who could have known that little Sui Sui is a max-level lucky charm? She goes up the mountain to gather firewood, and the ground is covered with wild chicken eggs. She steps outside, and a plump wild boar runs right into her and knocks itself out. Even century-old ginseng deep in the mountains and giant yellow croaker in the bay fight to leap into her arms! The brawny uncle, who used to be so poor he couldn't even afford to get married, follows the little girl's lead as they forage in the mountains and at sea. They build a big tiled house, buy a bicycle, and make him the richest man in the village! Seeing Lu Zheng spoil Sui Sui rotten, feed her meat at every meal, and treat her like a princess, the mother who heartlessly abandoned her is consumed with regret. Their despicable relatives are green with envy, crying and begging to be acknowledged as family. Gripping a cleaver, Lu Zheng glares at them and kicks them all flying: Anyone who dares lay a hand on my Sui Sui will pay with their life!
