[Adorable Child’s Growth + Love of Country and Family + Across Time and Space + Fallen Heroes Return Home + Rousing, Uplifting Energy + A Prosperous Age That Brings Comfort to the Fallen] Three-and-a-half-year-old Lin Xinghuo, an orphaned child of a fallen hero, unexpectedly awakens the ability to enter dreams that soothe the souls of the dead across time and space. In her sleep, she returns to the blood-soaked battlefield of more than seventy years ago, buried beneath wind and snow. When she wakes, her tiny palm is clutching a bloodstained bullet casing weathered by time, along with a charred piece of bark marked with a secret location. This extraordinary phenomenon defies all reason and deeply moves a retired veteran, who immediately reports the truth to his superiors. The little girl is soon entrusted to the state’s care and protection. The nation takes the matter extremely seriously and launches a special operation to bring the remains of fallen heroes home. No cost will be spared to welcome back the forebears who have slept on the snowy plains for so long. One moving scene after another unfolds. By day, Xinghuo draws the terrain from her dream memories, while engineering teams brave the freezing permafrost and gradually find the remains of heroes still poised to charge into battle. At night, she falls asleep safely after eating a warm meal, carrying hearty food, ample supplies, and the sight of her thriving country today across the long years to the heroes of the past. Looking at the heroes who once endured hunger and freezing cold and gave their lives to defend their country, the little girl says in her sweet, babyish voice: “Uncles and big brothers from the past, we won!” “Our country is peaceful and prosperous now. Everyone has enough to eat and warm clothes to wear, and no one dares bully us anymore!”
