Espionage: I Founded the Nation, and the System Only Just Arrived?

After transmigrating to 1939, Lu Yunqi becomes a bankrupt overseas Chinese in Shanghai.

No System? No problem! Armed with modern knowledge, he utterly outclasses everyone in this era.

In Shanghai, he commands both the underworld and the legitimate world, becoming the "Godfather of the Far East" who makes the top Japanese and puppet-regime officials bow to him. In secret, he transfers the wealth he has amassed in this chaotic age to Southeast Asia, buys an island, and builds a country, creating a private army of 100,000 Chinese troops equipped entirely with American and German weapons!

Director Dai wants to recruit him, the head of 76 wants to treat him like an ancestor, and the Japanese commander in Shanghai worships him like a god of wealth.

Just as Lu Yunqi is about to unveil his 100,000-strong army, sweep away the Japanese invaders, and make himself president...

"Ding! The Resistance War Ace Agent System has been activated!"

"Newbie mission: Host, infiltrate Wang's puppet 76 and pose as a low-ranking agent to steal a piece of basic intelligence. Reward: one Browning pistol!"

Lu Yunqi looks at the director and deputy director of 76, kneeling on the floor and carefully polishing his shoes, and falls into deep thought.

"Wait... I'm practically building a country in Southeast Asia, and you want me to go work as some low-level spy?!"
