Don’t Be So Mean, Grumpy Uncle: This Little Money Lover Just Wants to Make a Fortune

[Both leads are each other’s one and only + sweet, hilarious romance + age gap + marriage before love: a money-loving, numbers-savvy little bunny vs. a proud, short-tempered, overthinking older man]

With the Jiang family on the verge of bankruptcy, twenty-year-old Jiang Nuonuo was cruelly given away as a gift by her own father and delivered to thirty-three-year-old business tyrant Li Zheng.

Rumor had it that Li Zheng was hot-tempered and ruthless, and that any woman who crossed him met a miserable end!

Looking at Jiang Nuonuo in her strawberry-print dress, with her round face and bright, almond-shaped eyes, Li Zheng sneered. “The old man must be senile. He sent me a middle schooler who hasn’t even been weaned?”

Jiang Nuonuo wasn’t afraid at all. Instead, she nervously tugged at her hem, then bravely pulled out a calculator. “Then, Mr. Li, if you’re returning me, could you reimburse me for lost wages and emotional damages? WeChat Pay and Alipay are both accepted.”

Li Zheng was so annoyed he laughed. He tossed her into the spare bedroom. “Behave yourself. Just think of it as having another cat in the house.”

But after they married, Li Zheng discovered that this cat’s obsession with money was downright insane!

He threw money around as he negotiated hundred-billion-yuan deals, while at home she waited in line for half an hour with the square-dancing aunties just to buy discounted free-range eggs at the supermarket.

Unable to take it anymore, he slapped a black card down in front of her. “Spend whatever you want. Don’t come home until you’ve blown a hundred million!”

Jiang Nuonuo’s eyes lit up. “Okay! Honey, can I withdraw the money and put it into a fixed-term deposit to earn interest?”

Then one day, Li Zheng caught the little girl tugging and pulling at a handsome young senior on the street. His eyes reddened with rage, and he threw her over his shoulder.

Late that night, Li Zheng pinned her firmly against the door. “Need money? I’ll give you all the trillions in assets under my name! If you so much as look at another man, I’ll break your legs!”
