I want high-quality historical fiction that’s engaging and doesn’t dumb things down or rely on brainless plots. It can be satisfying, but don’t treat readers like idiots. This time travel novel breaks out of the common routine and has no system support. The protagonist travels back to the dying Emperor Apocalypse, with only a broken body and a memory from his ancestors in his hand. There are factional conflicts within the court and powerful enemies outside. He knows the outcome of the Ming Dynasty and has to find a way out among the many dead ends. The most poignant conflict is that the consciousness of his ancestors is slowly eroding him. He wants to save Ming, but the price is to lose himself. The story has a strong tone and is not a brainless novel. The power game is written with great tension. When I read the protagonist's sentence about exchanging his life for his country, it had a strong impact.
The protagonist drags a sick body riddled with holes and deals with a group of courtiers who have their own evil intentions. Every step he takes is overdrafting himself. This tragic feeling of using life as a chess to extend the life of the country makes me cry. I hope the author can write a good ending, come on!
The plot of this book is ingenious, the setting of the unsystematic golden finger is quite eye-catching, and the plot of the late Ming Dynasty is gripping. The dual consciousness setting is very innovative, and I look forward to the subsequent plot direction. Those who are interested in this type of subject can take a look.
Goldfinger is very restrained and mainly relies on the protagonist's vision of future generations to promote talents, just like Bole picking a thousand-mile horse, putting the right people in the right positions. Although there is a lot of foreshadowing in the early stage and the pace is relatively slow, the process of sorting out the mess little by little has a different kind of refreshing feeling. It is a good-looking [bookshelf plus one] [grass has been planted]
Nowadays, many historical time travel novels start out in a dull and exciting way, but the protagonist of this one is very pragmatic. Know what is lacking at this stage and work towards a balance of power step by step. The historical background is very deep, and the tension between the king and his ministers is written very penetratingly. It is so exciting to watch!
The setting is brilliant, and the idea of the coexistence of ancestral consciousness is amazing. It does not rely on plug-ins to crush everything, but more of a contest of mind and strategy. The heavy atmosphere of the late Ming Dynasty is well rendered, and the rivalry between the characters is particularly exciting.
There is no systematic cheat in this book. The protagonist's soul has passed through the Apocalypse Zhu Youxiao, and Zhu Yuanzhang's blood consciousness coexists in his body. In the late Ming Dynasty, various forces in the court were pulling at each other. The characters of Wei Zhongxian, Zhang Yan, and Zhu Youjian are all very three-dimensional. The plot is solid and the pace is slow. It is suitable for readers who like hard-core historical texts about the late Ming Dynasty.
The setting of dual consciousness is quite innovative, the characters are vividly written, and the undercurrent of court games is surging. The writing style is calm and restrained, without any exaggeration, and there are thoughtful notes at the end of each chapter. It really doubles my liking [gives my heart]! ! !
