A Dating Show Needed a Filler Contestant, Then an S-Rank Fugitive Was Exposed

“Readers are begging the whole internet for the cruel web-novel author to finish his story, but he's on a dating show showering a cold-as-ice CEO with affection?”

Lu Jingzhe is the S-rank fugitive known as “The Artisan” in the eyes of the plutocrats, and an icon of resistance to ordinary people.

To escape the pursuit of a super AI, he's forced to disguise himself as a melancholy web novelist and infiltrate the world's top-tier dating show.

He plans to keep a low profile, cook for the icy CEO, drive her around, and casually rewrite his story into a sweet romance to lull the public.

Unexpectedly, the aloof heiress takes a special interest in him, and viewers across the internet go wild shipping them!

Then one day, an accident interrupts filming, and the plutocrats' armed mechs surround the production crew by force.

Just as everyone despairs and the heiress CEO steps in front of him, the mild-mannered Lu Jingzhe sighs.

He casually picks up a rusty wrench and, live before the entire internet, dismantles the enemy mechs with his bare hands, turning them into scrap metal scattered across the sky.

The internet explodes, and the trending lists crash completely!

“You said you were just a harmless pretty boy on a dating show, but you're actually an S-rank outlaw with a trillion-dollar bounty on your head?”

As the plutocrats' forces close in, Lu Jingzhe snaps his fingers, and a hundred-meter-tall Godslayer Mech rises from the abyss.

He puts an arm around the heiress CEO and smiles at the live-streaming cameras. “Allow me to introduce myself. I'm a fugitive, and your new god.”
