You Were Asked to Rule in the Emperor's Absence, So Why Did You Turn Great Xia into the Underworld?

Zhao Yan transmigrates into the body of a prince overseeing the court of Great Xia. From the start, he faces barbarian forces at the pass, pressure from sects, and a nation on the brink of collapse.

Fortunately, he awakens the [Supreme Fengdu System]. As long as he kills enemies and collects corpses, he can exchange them for divine offices in the underworld and ghost soldiers.

And just like that, everything changes!

Faced with an army of tens of millions of barbarians, he sweeps out an arm. A million-strong skeleton legion rises behind him. "Behold my Immortal Black Armor Army! Who dares fight?"

Faced with corrupt officials, he brings out the Book of Life and Death and summons Judge Wei Zhongxian. "My dear minister, find out how many years they have left and how heavy their sins are."

Faced with a holy maiden from a sect, he presents her with a bowl of Meng Po's soup. "Miss, drink this bowl of 'Worry-Free Tea,' and everything in your past will become nothing."

Years later, when the Great Qian empress leads the gods and Buddhas of the heavens against him, she finds a supreme nether court floating above a blood sea in the underworld.

Zhao Yan sits on a white bone dragon throne, looking down upon the heavens. "I am Yama, and Great Xia is the underworld. Welcome, everyone, to... the Eighteen Levels of Hell!"
