Falling in Love First

Forced love / marriage first, love later / powerful family / age gap / groveling ex / adult tension

That one-night spark was an accident. The contract marriage was a calculated arrangement. The two had nothing to do with each other.

But fate insisted on tying them together.

The night Lin Wei got drunk, she spent the night with a stranger, Fu Yanshen.

When she woke, all that remained was a note bearing a single word: “Make it up.”

Three days later, her father went bankrupt. To save her family, she signed a contract marriage with Fu Yanshen. On their wedding night, she realized he was the man from that night, but he had no idea who she was.

For the next two years, she secretly investigated the injustice surrounding her father as his “contract wife,” while he gradually fell for her without ever letting it show.

Truth, suspicion, pursuit, separation, reunion… When the powerful man finally lowered his head, he wrote: “I fell for you first. Recognizing you came later.” “Wildcat.” “I’m here.” This time, there was nothing left to make up for.
