“Report, sir! Qin Ye has submitted his discharge papers again!”
“Approve them, quick! Get that menace out of here!”
“Report, sir! It’s too late... He’s hung the Blue Force commander from a tree during the exercise!”
Six years.
As the Fierce Tiger Brigade’s unprecedented “rookie who refuses to leave,” Qin Ye’s biggest dream is to take off his uniform, go home, inherit the family fortune, and live as a rich second-generation nobody can boss around.
To make sure he gets discharged, he decides to go all out in the red-versus-blue exercise on the night before his discharge, hoping the army will simply kick him out.
Instead, through a series of mishaps, he sneaks into the Blue Force’s headquarters, throws a sack over the commander’s head, ties him up, and hangs him from a tree for all to see. His feat sends shockwaves through the entire military district.
[Ding! The Old Six God of War and Hell Instructor System has activated!]
[The more you want to leave the army, the more merit you have to earn.]
Qin Ye is completely dumbfounded.
He thought he’d be facing punishment, solitary confinement, or a court-martial.
Who knew the military district commander would slam a hand on the table and say:
“We can’t let a natural special-operations talent like this get away!”
“Promote him! Put him in charge of troops! Send him to the training brigade for some serious drilling!”
From then on, Qin Ye’s life goes completely off the rails.
His unit wants to keep him, his family won’t let him go, the Blue Force wants to kill him, and the cold-faced military doctor at the general hospital keeps an eagle eye on his physical examination reports.
The more he tries to slack off, the more he’s praised as a brilliant commander.
The more he wants to leave the army, the more he’s pushed to become the youngest and most underhanded devil instructor in the entire military.
Qin Ye loses it:
“I just want to get discharged. Why is the whole army against me?”
Very nice book, keep updating
I think the author wrote it very well. The greater the ability, the greater the responsibility.
It feels too suffocating. People who can tolerate it should be able to watch it.
It's so frustrating!
