Death-Defying Express Delivery in the Middle East

Ming Hao is a stateless assassin operating in the Middle East’s gray underworld. Greedy and risk-averse, ruthless and driven by profit, he has lived by just two rules for more than a decade on the run: stay alive and make money. He believes in neither honor nor human kindness. His hands are stained with blood, and his heart holds nothing but the cold rules of a transaction.

A drunken mishap in Dubai one early morning leads him to take in Fatima, an eight-year-old girl carrying a world-shaking secret. The necklace around her neck conceals core missile data capable of reshaping the balance of power in the Middle East, and has also made her the target of an inescapable death warrant. Multiple forces close in: intelligence agencies, arms magnates, and bounty hunters, all tightening the noose.

For the staggering reward of a hundred million dollars, Ming Hao chooses a highly reputable arms magnate known as the General. He escorts the girl across war zones in four countries, braving deadly deserts and deadly traps in ruined cities, escaping death time and again. Blinded by the General’s carefully cultivated reputation, he ignores Fatima’s repeated warnings, though the precocious girl is remarkably good at reading people, dismissing her instincts as childish fear.

On the day of the deal, the masks come off, and every move leads to a dead end. As gunfire erupts in the chaos, a little girl takes a fatal bullet meant for the assassin who had never protected anyone.

The cold-blooded killer’s self-serving creed collapses completely. The ghost who once cared only for money abandons deals, profit, and every escape route. He places bounties on his enemies, turns a traitor inside the organization, and lies low in a deadly trap, taking on the mightiest arms syndicate by himself and crushing every threat and betrayal. When the smoke clears, he destroys the world-shaking data, puts his killing days behind him, and takes the girl far from the conflict. At last, the bloodthirsty killer finds a place to call home. The storms of life pass, and someone waits for him to come home. The ghost of the past finally learns to live like an ordinary man.
