With My Ancestor’s Help, I’m a Laid-Back Fish in Ancient Times

Shen Yujin unexpectedly switches souls with her ancestor from the Great Qi dynasty, Shen Wanqi. The ancestral jade pendant they share happens to be the key connecting their two eras. Not only do they trade lives, they also unlock a shared space that only they can enter. The first time they enter it together, they meet inside. They go from shock and suspicion to understanding, from testing each other's skills to opening their hearts. As they learn from each other, they gradually find their footing and discover more of the space's wonders. The space is linked to Shen Yujin's Douyin storefront and product links. Every order automatically creates a duplicate of the purchased item inside the space for Shen Yujin to use in the past. Meanwhile, antiques and valuables smuggled into the space in a way that evades its detection can be taken out and sold by Shen Wanqi in the modern era, improving her life. So they divide the work with perfect understanding: Shen Wanqi takes full charge of the Douyin account, filming vlogs that show her working hard and living positively, hoping to gain followers and sell one more item so she can send another piece of modern-day supplies to the past. Shen Yujin carefully selects things around the household that seem easy to sell and unlikely to be missed, steadily storing them in the space for Shen Wanqi to take out and sell in the modern era, making her life there better. The space becomes a transfer point between their worlds. Shen Wanqi runs the Douyin account and sells good products, while Shen Yujin gathers items and puts them in the space for Shen Wanqi to sell. Connected by a jade pendant and brought together through the space, the two women support each other across generations, facing every challenge together across the divide of time and moving toward a brighter future.
