Running Man: Bailu, Stay Away. I Only Have Eyes for Song Yuqi

[Variety show livestream + one heroine + wildly different treatment + light, sweet romance] After transmigrating ten years ago, Lin Che made enough money by copying books and songs to become financially independent. Now he spends his days walking his dog and fishing on his sprawling estate, enjoying an early retirement. Who could have guessed his close friend in the industry, Song Yuqi, would drag him straight onto the live set of Keep Running to fill in at the last minute? On the first day of filming, top-tier star Bai Lu, accustomed to putting traffic above all else, was captivated by Lin Che's stunning looks. She tried to rope the newcomer into playing her “adorably ditzy little boyfriend,” forcing herself close to him to drum up a couple's pairing! Bai Lu pretended to slip and fell toward Lin Che. He made a textbook hip twist and stepped back three paces. “Miss, I'm a germaphobe. Please keep a safe distance!” Bai Lu complained tearfully, “Why don't you ever pay attention to me? You always ignore me during the games, too!” Lin Che rolled his eyes and shot back, “You're not money. Do you really think everyone loves you?” The next second, the game began. Lin Che snatched the prop and hurried over to Song Yuqi. “I got it! Hurry up and praise me!” Bai Lu: “???” The livestream exploded. Viewers were in stitches: “Is this the ultimate straight-man defense? Bai Lu's PR pairing is doomed now that she's run into Lin Che!” “He gives Bai Lu all his indifference and Yuqi all his affection!” “Lin Che: This job is just my side gig. Dating Yuqi on the company's dime is the real deal!”
