The Dao of Celestial Patterns

In a fantasy world where patterns determine one’s talent, everyone’s fate is decided by the strength of their bloodline. Heaven and earth are a chessboard, all living beings are its pieces, and warriors who wield patterns clash as the strong reign supreme. A young man is born with a crippled body, but awakens the long-lost Eternal Pattern Chessboard. He cannot defy heaven through brute strength, yet he can see the flaws in all things. While the world is obsessed with overwhelming force, he plots his moves and uses wit to break through every deadlock. Mockery at school, suppression by powerful clans, and the contempt of prodigies all become stepping stones on his path to the summit. Starting from the lowest rung, he uses a mortal’s wisdom to move a game of ages and turn the fate of all living beings around.
