I Became a Fugitive Slave, Farmed with Magic, and Rose to the Throne

[Western fantasy, transmigration, magical farming, territory management, construction, no romance, strong female lead]

On her first day as a transmigrated fugitive slave, Su Fu bears a slave brand and is being sent to the most dangerous mine on the continent of Elvia: the Blackthorn Mine.

If the brand activates, her owner will find her.

If she flees into the Blackthorn Wasteland, pollution, starvation, and magical beasts will kill her.

Everyone says nothing can grow in the wasteland.

But in its scorched soil, Su Fu awakens the Art of Spring's Breath.

She makes dead soil grow Moonlight Wheat, covers polluted ditches with water-purifying moss, uses black vines to ensnare slave-hunting hounds, and helps the fugitives whose magic has been suppressed by shackles for years reclaim their powers.

The nobles cut off salt and iron, hoping to force her to submit.

The grain merchants destroy fields and cut off supplies, hoping to starve her out.

The Church, invoking the name of purification, means to send her and the entire Free Village to the stake.

Su Fu does only one thing.

She grows crops, digs canals, brews medicine, and builds a city.

But as green spreads across the wasteland once more, she gradually discovers an even more terrifying secret behind the pollution of the Blackthorn Wasteland.

Why does the sun furnace that never goes out in the royal capital need countless slave brands to keep it running?

How many lives lie buried beneath the kingdom's so-called prosperity?

Then the earl leads a mage legion to her doorstep, demanding her land, magical plants, and every fugitive slave.

Su Fu stands before the Free City and raises a hand, awakening the dormant leyline formation.

"Anyone who wants to capture me had better ask this land if it agrees."
