The An Lushan Rebellion: I’m Ready to Die in Battle, Your Majesty, Why Are You Fleeing?

Xiao Ce was riding a shared bike and singing when a Dayun truck came straight at him...

When he came to, Xiao Ce found himself on the eighth day of the sixth month of Tianbao's fifteenth year, on the grand stage of Lingbao Plain.

In his despair, he awakened a System and received the strength of a tyrant, but the System promptly ran off.

Xiao Ce fought his way back to Tong Pass, only to find that Geshu Han had been taken prisoner by his own men, who were surrendering to the rebel army.

As Xiao Ce and Wang Sili fought with all their might to stop the fleeing troops and defend Tong Pass,

news arrived that Xuanzong had fled with Yang Guifei, and worst of all, Wang Sili had also run off with his personal guards.

“Your servant is ready to fight to the death. Why, Your Majesty, are you running away?”

If you refuse to show me loyalty, don't blame me for taking your realm!
