War of Resistance: Our Banner Dyed Red with Japanese Blood

[Rousing War of Resistance] No System, no transmigration, just the grit in the bones of the Chinese people amid the smoke and gunfire!

During the Wannan Incident, the New Fourth Army is surrounded. Lin Feng, a reconnaissance squad leader, takes up the bloodstained company flag from his dying company commander and leads eight battered comrades in a desperate breakout. He crosses Japanese blockades, ambushes special forces, makes a night crossing of the Yangtze, and raids a Japanese supply depot. He trades a body covered in scars for a chance to survive.

At the northern Jiangsu base, Lin Feng is ordered to form the “Wolf Reconnaissance Platoon.” With no guns or ammunition, he leads his men in taking them from the Japanese. With no experience, he teaches them on the battlefield, staking his life on every lesson. Blowing up bridges, launching raids, infiltrating behind enemy lines, and surrounding enemy positions to lure reinforcements, he repeatedly wins against overwhelming odds, until the Japanese put a bounty of fifty thousand silver dollars on his head.

He is the fiercest wolf on the battlefield, but also the steadiest support his comrades could ask for. Shen Jing, a military doctor with the medical unit, quietly stitches her heart to his as she tends his wounds time and again.

“As long as the flag is flying, I'll stand. The war isn't over. I can't die.”

From squad leader to company commander, from eight men to one hundred and twenty. This is the birth of an elite assault force, and the iron-blooded legend of an ordinary soldier forged into a commander in the heat of battle.
