Unemployed and Fighting Back: A Programmer Takes on an Overseas Scam Compound

At 35, unemployed, and betrayed by his wife, who was cheating on him with his own best friend, Lin Kui's life shattered overnight.

As he sat on the curb, drinking away his sorrows, his former elementary school deskmate and the prettiest girl in their class, Zhou Xiaoyu, suddenly appeared. She was gentle and attentive, asking after him and even offering herself to him. Lin Kui was moved to tears: At last, heaven had shown him some kindness.

Who knew it was all an elaborate honey trap? Xiaoyu used his signature to rack up a million yuan in online loans, then vanished without a trace. By the time Lin Kui realized what was happening, he'd been stuffed into a van and taken to the KK Park compound in Myanmar, the world's most ruthless online scam hellhole.

The moment a gun was pressed to the back of his head, he thought he was done for.

But he'd forgotten one thing: he was a veteran programmer with eight years of experience at a major tech company.

While others took beatings and waited to die in the compound, he stayed alive with a single line of code. While others were sold off like pigs, his people skills made the bosses fight over him. From Zone C to Zone A, from enforcer to scam queen, everyone had to give him some respect.

And the most outrageous part? The compound's beautiful translators, a boss's daughter, a down-on-her-luck model, and an undercover policewoman all threw themselves at him one by one.

Was this really hell? It was clearly the stage for his comeback.

Watch as this 35-year-old good-for-nothing programmer carves a path through despair, makes a legend under the gun, and takes down the entire KK Park compound along the way!
