The Archrivals Lost Their Memories, and the Whole Internet Went Wild Shipping Them

Top agents Ling Ye and Su Ying lose their memories in an explosion during their final showdown. When they wake and look into each other’s eyes, their hearts race, and they blurt out each other’s names. The whole internet assumes they’re the “Mr. and Mrs. Smith who lost their memories after eloping for love,” and turns their “newlywed life” into a nationally beloved couple show, livestreamed for all to see.

On camera, they awkwardly play loving spouses. Off camera, they test and guard against each other, yet can’t help drawing closer. Then fragments of their memories return, and they’re horrified to discover that the other is not only their sworn enemy, but also a target they’re supposed to eliminate.

Meanwhile, viewers around the world are moved to tears by their “perfect love story,” while both their organizations have issued final kill orders. Will they keep playing the nation’s favorite couple, or turn their guns on each other?

“When our memories disappeared, instinct told us we were in love. When they returned, our loyalties ordered us to kill each other. This time, I choose to betray the whole world, myself included.”
