Sky Screen: Zhu Yuanzhang Believed My Made-Up Story About the Ming Dynasty

Lu Jingxian binds himself to the Historical Sky Screen System. As long as he sends videos to the ancient world and makes people of the past believe them without question, he can turn fake history into reality!

To earn Reality Points, Lu Jingxian decides to spice things up for the Ming Dynasty.

With a few strokes of his brush, he invents an illegitimate son of Crown Prince Zhu Biao: Zhu Xuanming, the Ming Dynasty's greatest God of War and an industrial fanatic!

On the sky screen, the scenes unfold:

“Zhu Xuanming, grandson of the Ming emperor, fakes his death to escape, then leads an armored mech battalion to crush the northern deserts!”

“Overseas bases are complete, and the invincible Ming fleet bombards England!”

“Launch the Ming Industrial Revolution, sweep across the globe, and establish an empire on which the sun never sets!”

Lu Jingxian thinks he is just writing an invincible power fantasy, but every Ming emperor goes completely mad.

In the Hongwu era, Zhu Yuanzhang, eyes red, grabs a belt and beats Zhu Biao. “You unfilial wretch! Where is my peerless grandson? Hand him over, now!”

In the Yongle era, Zhu Di is so frightened that he surrenders his military authority in the middle of the night, terrified that his invincible nephew will abolish his fief.

In the Chongzhen era, after watching an explanation of the “underground armory beneath the Forbidden City” on the sky screen, Zhu Youjian spends the night ripping up the floor tiles in the Hall of Supreme Harmony with his eunuchs!

Then one day, Lu Jingxian opens his window and sees a steam airship sailing across the sky beneath the fluttering dragon banners of the Ming. He falls into deep thought.

“Oh no. Did they really build the eternal emperor I made up?”
