Rule Horror: The Forbidden Fairytale Zone

[Rule Horror + Dark Fairy Tales + Infinite-Flow] On my sixteenth birthday, my grandmother died, leaving me a red cloak and a note covered in rules.

“On the night of the first full moon after the Frost's Descent, put on the cloak and enter Blue Lake Forest. Reach the cabin before sunrise and give the basket to ‘Grandmother.’ Do not stop along the way. Do not look back. Do not eat anything red.”

I thought my grandmother had lost her mind with age.

Then the full moon rose, and I was dragged into the forest. Wolves whispered, hunters smiled from the shadows, and the “Grandmother” in the cabin called my name in a voice that was anything but human.

There was one final rule on the note: “Rules can be hunted.”

So I stopped running.

I raised the hatchet my grandmother had left behind and began hunting every rule that wanted me dead.

A white wolf boy emerged from the shadows and murmured, “You're the second person to dare do this. The first was your grandmother.”

“Where is she now?”

He gazed silently at the hatchet in my hand and said, “She turned herself into a rule, waiting for you to kill her.”
