Distorted Rules

Countless strangers are trapped in strange, repeating instances, each with clearly stated rules for survival.

Everyone thinks that following the rules will keep them alive.

Only after countless people die do they realize the truth: the rules evolve, the truth expires, and their perceptions can be rewritten. The traps you avoid, the mysteries you solve, and the principles you stand by can become the blades that kill you the very next second.

I have no supernatural abilities and no memories of past loops. My only way out is to never trust anything before my eyes, and to tear open the one false truth hidden within rules that keep mutating.

While everyone else follows the rules to escape, I fight the ever-evolving rules and my own rewritten perceptions.
