I'm a Social Butterfly Zombie. It's Only Natural for Me to Go a Little Crazy

The entire base thinks I’m a frail, delicate flower. Everyone except the zombies.

Li Xian is a sociable zombie with a mind of her own, and her greatest wish is to snack on sunflower seeds and gossip with the living.

So, wearing a thick coat of cheap foundation and relying on her shameless, nothing-can-touch-me attitude, she successfully infiltrates the base’s outer district and becomes the “guardian beast” treasured by all the neighborhood grannies and grandpas.

She fixes Auntie Zhang’s leaky faucet, darns Old Liu’s stinky socks, and secretly has zombies empty the corrupt higher-ups’ private warehouses to help the common people.

In this cannibalistic wasteland, anyone who dares bully her won’t need her to lift a finger. The grannies can beat them to a pulp with their rolling pins.

The green-tea supporting actress presents blurry video evidence: “She was talking to zombies in the middle of the night! She’s a monster!”

The grannies kick her to the ground. “Bullshit! My goddaughter’s always had poor circulation. She was practicing her singing!”

But no matter how well she hides it, her heart that never beats and her icy body temperature eventually arouse suspicion among the base’s higher-ups, who begin hunting her down.

Facing the dark mouths of guns and their relentless probing, Li Xian sighs, casually twists the head of a Level Three mutant zombie into a pretzel, then turns around with a weak smile.

“Don’t be scared, everyone. That was just an adrenaline rush. Anyway, who’s going to cover my emotional distress fee for saving you just now?”
