I Opened a Supermarket in the Cold Palace, and Now the Whole Palace Shops with Me

Su Qingran, a modern supermarket manager, unexpectedly transmigrates into the body of Su Qingran, the disgraced empress of the Da Qi dynasty. As soon as she arrives, she's tossed into the Cold Palace and nearly starves to death. That's when she binds herself to a cross-time supermarket System and uses her starting credit to stock up on several cases of instant noodles.

She cooks a bowl and has barely taken a bite when Liu Zhong, an old eunuch from the neighboring Cold Palace, follows the smell over. Blushing, he asks, "Your Majesty, what are you eating? Could I buy a bowl? I'll give you five wen!"

Su Qingran's eyes light up. Isn't this a business opportunity?

That very day, she sells all the remaining instant noodles and earns 50 wen. Then she stocks up on spicy strips, sunflower seeds, and biscuits. The eunuchs and palace maids in the Cold Palace rush to buy them, and she makes two taels of silver on her first day!

Before long, word gets out, and the imperial consorts come too. Consort Xian buys face masks, Consort Li rushes to buy spicy strips, and even the Empress Dowager sneaks over to buy wrinkle cream!

Even Emperor Xiao Heng hears about it. He sneaks over in plain clothes, buys a packet of spicy strips, and gets hooked after one bite. He comes by every day to freeload, even asking, "Boss, can I get a membership? If I put in 100 taels, can I get a discount?"

Su Qingran is busy making money and has no time for the emperor. She turns the deserted Cold Palace into the busiest commercial street in the entire palace, opening snack, cosmetics, fabric, and medicine sections. Even merchants from outside the palace come to her to stock up!
