Building a Plane with PowerPoint? I'll Light One Up Right Here!

[Lighthearted Humor + Subverting Expectations + Building a Strong Nation Through Technology]

Yong Ze is the sole heir to the trillion-yuan Yongcai Group fortune. Instead of taking over a financial empire, he insists on renting a run-down, three-story factory in Pudong to build engines.

Relatives: "Did this kid get hit in the head? Is he playing with LEGO?"

Netizens: "The richest man's idiot son is burning through the family fortune to chase a dream. Can't wait to watch him go bankrupt live!"

The military: "Let him do what he wants. It's his dad's money he's burning, anyway."

Even the System seems like an unreliable client: no beginner's guide, no NPC assistants, just a string of code for him to figure out himself.

Yong Ze spends six years figuring it out.

On Children's Day in the sixth year, the steel behemoth he'd been working on for six years suddenly roars to life. Blue light flashes across the screens in the control room. The engine spits deep-blue flames, like a dragon hatchling opening its eyes for the first time.

All specifications pass.

An Air Force major general flies in to inspect it. He walks into the factory with a grim face, as if he's there to collect a corpse. But when he sees the engine, his feet seem welded to the floor. "Th-this nozzle can rotate 360 degrees?! We haven't even finished drawing the blueprints!"

At the air show, a J-20 taxis a hundred meters along the ground, then raises its nose and shoots into the sky. Its exhaust nozzle adjusts direction as nimbly as a cat's paw. A Lockheed Martin expert leaps out of his chair, spilling coffee all over his pants.
