After I Quit, He Came Back Begging Me with Red Eyes

A cool, adorably awkward cultural relic restorer sees through a workplace conspiracy, quits decisively, and uncovers one mystery after another. Meanwhile, her once-sunny, dazzling lover finally sets out to win her back and exposes Lin Wan’s jealousy and malicious frame-ups, ruining her reputation in the industry. Gu Yu, the hero and a rising star in the field, is bright and cheerful, but so caught up in work that he overlooks Shen Nian’s predicament. The two break up amid misunderstandings. After leaving her job, Shen Nian goes into hiding and, while restoring ancient books and damaged artifacts, accidentally uncovers the truth behind a long-ago theft at a museum. As Shen Nian strikes back with grace, the layers of deception unravel and Lin Wan’s scheme is exposed. Realizing there was more to Shen Nian’s determination than he had ever understood, he embarks on the grueling “fire-forging-road-to-win-her-back” campaign.
