Shen Xu didn’t even look up. “No big deal. Get in touch with them.”
His gaze brushed the magazine at the corner of his desk. He suddenly looked up.
“Wait. I’ll handle this one personally.”
As soon as the other person left, Shen Xu immediately made a call, his voice clipped and cold. “Find out everything about a photographer named Su Yan.”
“What? He has a boyfriend? Sign his boyfriend, no matter the cost. Add a clause to the contract: no dating.”
At Changhong Magazine.
“Ryan, the movie star finally agreed to be on our cover!”
Su Yan gave a noncommittal “Oh.”
“But he specifically asked you to shoot him.”
“Which movie star?”
“Shen Xu, the great Shen Xu!”
Su Yan’s fingers paused. “Sorry, I’m turning him down.”
Clara replied helplessly, “Mr. Shen, talented people tend to be a little proud…”
Shen Xu didn’t take it seriously. “It’s fine. I appreciate talent. Make the arrangements. From now on, I’ll be there for every one of his shoots. If I keep at it long enough, he’ll say yes eventually.”
Later, Su Yan stormed in. “Clara, there’s a tail following me around. How am I supposed to shoot?”
Clara spread her hands. “The contract doesn’t say there can’t be an observer.”
