Dream of the Red Chamber: Daiyu Is Reborn and Stays Away from the Jia Family's Scoundrels

This story portrays the Jia family in a negative light, with despicable and hypocritical men. Do not read if you dislike that! After Daiyu wept herself to death and her soul returned to the Land of Illusion, she learned that she was actually the Crimson Pearl Fairy. She later discovered that her past experiences had been nothing more than a book in the mortal world, and that she herself was merely a character in it. After reading the complete book, she still couldn't let go of her sorrow, though it wasn't because she longed for the mortal world. One day, the Fairy Jinghuan said, "I understand, little sister. You did it to repay a debt of gratitude, but after all those years, it was a misplaced devotion. It's only natural that you can't let it go." The Crimson Pearl couldn't help but feel moved. "Sister, you understand me!" "Enough. Go through it all once more. This is your tribulation." The Crimson Pearl was a little surprised. "You needn't do this, Sister. Being with my sisters every day is peaceful enough. Perhaps with time, I'll be able to let it go." The Fairy Jinghuan smiled. "Go on, little sister. We have all the time in the world. But when you are reborn in the mortal realm, you will forget everything about the Illusory Mirror and retain only your memories of the book. Take care of yourself." Seeing this, the Crimson Pearl could only accept it. Yet when she thought of the mother she had lost young in the mortal world, and how she hadn't been able to stay by her father's side and observe the mourning period before he died, a faint anticipation stirred in her heart.
