Doraemon: My Childhood Has Fallen Apart

I pressed Doraemon’s “Dictator Button” and made Gian, the bully who tormented me, disappear from the world.

But the world didn’t reset.

The next day, everyone was asking me, “Who’s Gian?”

The lot next door had become an empty patch of land overgrown with weeds. Mom said no one had ever lived there.

Doraemon pulled out a “stress-relief toy” and smiled, saying it was just a vibrating massager.

And inside my desk was a bloodstained note:

“Uses remaining: 99. Welcome, Nobita.”

On the back, in my own handwriting, was one desperate plea: “Save me.”

Now a transfer student named Torada Go sat in Gian’s seat, smiling sweetly at me.

The whole class said he’d transferred in last week, and Shizuka even praised him for being gentle and cheerful.

Only I remembered that the face had belonged yesterday to a demon named Takeshi Goda.

I started noticing more “glitches”: empty spaces edited out of photographs, Shizuka occasionally making a harsh expression, and Suneo’s childhood memories always containing a playmate he “couldn’t quite remember”...

And in my schoolbag, the button’s cold counter kept ticking down:

98/100.

Every time I tried to investigate, the number dropped by one.

Each time it did, a perfect replacement like Torada Go would smile and take one step closer to me.

If the counter hits zero, who will disappear?

The next “Gian”...

Or Nobita Nobi himself?

This time, no one can press the “restart” button for me.
