Your Majesty, the Princess Insists on Starting a Poverty Alleviation Project with Me

Saving up for a down payment as a food delivery rider, he is sent back to ancient times when an outdoor air-conditioning unit falls on him. He becomes the notorious county magistrate's useless son. From the start, the difficulty is hellish: the family owns nothing, the tenant farmers are losing faith, drought ravages the land, and even getting a drink of water means waiting in line and fighting for it.

Other people transmigrate with a golden finger, but Li Mo has nothing but a belly full of modern-day wage-slave survival skills. No System? Then he'll use clay and straw to plaster together a reservoir, and turn a broken crock into a fuel-saving stove. No capital? Then he'll teach the tenant farmers to weave baskets and recruit a blind craftsman to develop crude processing methods. Starting with a mouthful of water and a piece of bread, he carves out a way to survive against all odds.

While his county magistrate father shakes his head at him and his stepmother and elder brother treat him as invisible, Li Mo quietly turns a run-down manor into a model of success for Qingyang County. Only when the emperor and empress, traveling incognito, stop by and enemy cavalry approach the border do they realize that this forgotten son of a concubine has already laid an unshakable foundation with the simplest of methods.

Your Majesty, the Princess Insists on Helping Me Fight Poverty follows an ordinary man as he uses practicality and wisdom to make an honest living in another era, and ultimately shoulder the weight of an age.
