Naruto: When the Akatsuki Became a Regular Army

Naruto opens his eyes and realizes the whole world has gone crazy. Hinata is no longer shy. She pins him against the wall in a corner. “You can't escape this time.” Rock Lee wears round glasses and reads The Probability of Ninjutsu without looking up. Sasuke blows kisses at girls, while Guy-sensei lies on a bench and says, “Youth is such a hassle.” And on the sign outside the Hokage's office are two names: Fifth Hokage: Hashirama Senju, Madara Uchiha. Even more absurd: The Akatsuki is a special forces unit directly under the Hokage. Jiraiya, Tsunade, and Orochimaru are still fighting side by side. Itachi and Shisui are both alive, and Obito and White Fang never died. Everyone is here, yet everyone has changed. Only Naruto remembers everything that happened in the original world. He remembers the rain at the Valley of the End, Zabuza's gravestone, and the night Jiraiya sank beneath the sea. He begins to wonder: Is this perfect world really a gift? Or is it a trap someone set to keep him imprisoned? “I always keep my word. That's my ninja way.” In a world where everyone has forgotten everything, Naruto resolves to uncover the truth.
