[Male-Oriented + Imperial Exam and Power Struggles + Innate Superhuman Strength + Extreme Contrast + Showing Off and Face-Slapping + Alternate History] In his previous life, Sinologist Zhao Yuan is reborn in the famine-stricken Great Chu Dynasty as the son of a hunter, standing over nine feet tall and built like a brawler. From the start, he has nothing but bare walls at home and can’t even get a proper meal. People think he’s a brute who knows nothing but raw strength. Then he kills a giant wild boar with one punch and turns around to write a poem for the ages! He goes to a private school, where the teacher thinks he looks like a bandit. He composes a poem on the spot and leaves the teacher speechless. He takes the imperial exams, and his classmates laugh that he can’t read. He places first in all three rounds and is named the top scholar! In the exam hall, his writing dazzles, and he lays out ways to govern the country and bring peace. In troubled times, he lifts a great cauldron with one arm and sweeps away a thousand troops! When the barbarian armies reach the city gates and the entire court trembles in fear, newly crowned top scholar Zhao Yuan rips off his official robes, revealing a body packed with muscle, and brandishes his halberd. “Your servant will win them over with virtue!” The ministers all cry, “You call that a frail scholar?!”
