My Idol Girlfriend, An Youzhen

In 2020, he was selected third overall by the Hornets. After winning over the fans with his skills, he boldly declared in a post-game interview that he really liked Ahn Yu-jin.

"I really like Ahn Yu-jin from Korea's IZ*ONE. She works hard onstage, she's pure, and she's exactly my type."

The two then developed the faintest of connections. Later, after losing to the Pacers in the play-in tournament, he traveled to Korea alone and ran into Yoo Jae-suk, who was filming Running Man.

"My mission is to contact one of your friends on the spot and have her come meet you. But you don't have any friends in Korea. Wait, you do, Ju-gyeong. How about I call Ahn Yu-jin over?"

"What!?"

That was how the two first met in person.

Ju-gyeong: "Yu-jin is a wonderful girl. I like her."

Ahn Yu-jin: "You only like me?"

Ju-gyeong: "I... love you♡."

Ahn Yu-jin: "That's more like it♡."
