Eerie Descent: I Inherited a Haunted Hotel from the Start

The paranormal has descended everywhere. The world has become a hell of rules, Earth is gradually merging with another world, mythical powers are awakening, and order is barely clinging to existence on the brink of collapse.

Office worker Zhou Jing is dragged into the other world by his long-deceased father, Zhou Lin, and inherits the thirty-seventh branch of the Deadly Strange Hotel: a paranormal outpost ruled by a vegetarian crab boss, where rules devour flesh and emotions.

Half-paranormal body, vegetarian paranormal core, no joy or sorrow.

His probability-altering talent gives him authority over everything in the hotel.

When carnivorous paranormals break the rules and invade, he smashes them with one punch.

As trial-goers risk their lives to survive, he quietly lays out a path to safety along the edge of the rules.

When mist beasts go on a murderous rampage, he simply raises a hand and rewrites the mission's ending.

On Earth, one saying has caught on:

“If you want to die, go to the Deadly Strange Hotel and find the manager.”

The hotel is both a safe zone and a prison.

Follow its rules and live. Break them and die.

Surrounded by the paranormal, Zhou Jing must run the hotel, unlock its rules, subdue the paranormal, survive, and uncover the secrets.
