You Hired Me to Clean, So Why Am I Sweeping Up Horrors?

Lin Bai is broke and can’t pay his rent, so for fifty yuan an hour, he takes a seemingly certain-death job: cleaning a Grade A haunted house at midnight.

Outside the door, the Paranormal Bureau is fully armed, ready to collect his body at dawn.

Inside, Lin Bai awakens the talents [Absolute Materialist Vision] and [Conceptual-Level Deep Cleaning].

In his eyes, an S-rank red-clothed ghost is just a source of pollution with messy hair, while a forbidden ghost realm capable of devouring half a city is nothing but a garbage dump illegally blocking the road.

“Why won’t this bloodstain come off? I’ll need to add some bleach.”

Lin Bai smears a mop across the red-clothed female ghost’s face, instantly crushing the S-rank rules. He even demands a “heavy pollution cleanup fee” while he’s at it.

When the Paranormal Bureau finally breaks down the door, ready for battle, they see all the ghosts wailing and lining up to hand Lin Bai rags.

The live stream instantly goes viral: We sent you in as cannon fodder, and you’re workplace-bullying an S-rank anomaly?!
