Winning Over That Hard-to-Catch Villain

Synopsis

After repeatedly failing her missions, A-level agent Su Wan is exiled to the high-risk Special Affairs Cleanup Department, where she is assigned the ultimate task: make contact with and stabilize the anomalous individual Xie Yuan. Once the young heir to the Medicine Sect, Xie Yuan was born with a Pure Glass Heart. But after his sect was wiped out and his cultivation foundation destroyed, he became a high-risk menace, half-mad and half-demonic. He now hides in an abandoned residence, surrounded by forces of annihilation and destruction.

To complete her mission, Su Wan enters Xie Yuan’s world. Faced with his ability to see through people and his frozen heart, all her disguises are useless. Meanwhile, Sword Sovereign Ling Zhao and Demon Sovereign Xuan Sha, both involved in the Medicine Sect massacre, come looking for him. Three factions now vie for Xie Yuan’s Pure Glass Heart and Su Wan’s unusual identity.

At the end of her rope, Xie Yuan shatters his glass heart to create an illusory realm, trapping Su Wan inside with him. After severing the ties of her past, Su Wan witnesses Xie Yuan’s tragic history and gives up on escaping, choosing instead to bind herself to this obsessive, deranged villain in a shared fate. They are each other’s prison and the only companions they have in the dark. With the Immortal Alliance, the Demon Realm, and other factions all coveting them, they seek a path to coexistence on the brink of destruction, using the true meaning of the Secret Manual of the Green Satchel as the key to turning the tables. A struggle over redemption and ruin, winning someone over and winning their heart, begins.
