Transmigrating to a Desolate Village: Farming Life for a Family of Four

After a car accident, the family of four transmigrates straight into an abandoned village in ancient times. They open their eyes to crumbling walls and ruins, with no one in sight for miles.

They have no savings or connections, just an emergency kit to get them by. Their ten-year-old son and six-year-old daughter are so hungry they can only cry.

Lin Jianjun rolls up his sleeves. “Don’t be afraid. Dad can build a house and make farm tools!”

Su Wan steadies herself. “Don’t worry. Mom can farm, cook, and store food!”

The older brother looks after his little sister, and their parents protect both children. The family of four pulls together and gives it their all.

They repair the broken house to keep out the wind and rain, clear land to grow crops, raise chickens and ducks to build up their reserves, and pickle vegetables and smoke meat for winter.

They don’t panic when refugees arrive, and they aren’t afraid of wild beasts. They use their skills to trade for salt and grain, turning a desolate village into a secluded paradise.

While others struggle to get enough to eat in troubled times, her family has meat at every meal, and life just keeps getting better!
