The Laid-Back Guardian Checklist: Tangtang, Shishi, Tianxian, and Big Honey

Reborn in 2009, Lin Xiao used his memories of the future to win the lottery and snap up houses and cryptocurrency. By 22, he'd retired early and was living the laid-back life of a couch potato: sunbathing, collecting figurines, and wandering around anime conventions. Then one night, he “rescued” a drunk actress in Sanlitun: Yang Mi.

He planned to send her on her way the next day, but somehow became the “shoulder to cry on” for a top-tier star. His courtyard house inexplicably turned into the entertainment industry's secret hideout: Hu Ge came over to play video games, Xue Zhiqian to record songs and complain, Liu Shishi to zone out, Tang Yan to mooch meals, and Liu Yifei to get some peace and quiet. And the drunken actress who'd started it all gradually invaded his lazy little world.

From then on, Lin Xiao, who didn't want to work, was dragged to film sets for cameos. He didn't want to socialize, but was forced to attend celebrity parties. He didn't want to date, but four popular actresses took turns using him as a human shield. In the end, they even teamed up to trick him into joining a dating show!

“I just want to lie flat!” Lin Xiao wailed.

The actresses smiled. “You can lie flat, but you have to do it by our side.”

This is the chaotic everyday story of a laid-back male lead and a group of top-tier stars. There are playful arguments, warm companionship, and the unexpected crossover between a crafts-loving homebody and celebrities. Best of all, the fun-loving male lead's give-up-and-do-nothing attitude somehow infects the entire entertainment industry.
