Boss, Can't You Just Stick to Traffic Violations?

His name is Fan Longchuan, an ordinary traffic cop who just wants to direct traffic in peace.

But the System is always whispering in his ear:

“Target vehicle: fugitive transporting a corpse.”

“Pedestrian by the roadside: spy making contact.”

“Accident scene: murder and body disposal.”

He wants to refuse, but his body is more honest than his heart.

A routine overloading check exposes a human-trafficking ring. Handing out a ticket takes down a gambling den. Mediating a minor fender bender uncovers an international financial fraud scheme.

The entire Criminal Investigation Team is at its breaking point: “We’ve been on this case for two years!”

He replies, “Sorry, I just ran into it on patrol.”

A national security official hands him a business card. “Comrade, have you considered a career change?”

His captain holds him back with all his might. “No! All he can do is hand out tickets!”

Then he pulls over a black sedan. The window rolls down, revealing the face of an internationally wanted criminal.

The man smirks. “A little traffic cop thinks he can investigate me?”

He raises a breathalyzer and says calmly:

“Please blow into the device. Also, are you planning to confess to the drugs in your trunk?”
