A Happy Reunion! A Little One and the Immortals Bring Grandma Home

[A family reunion for the New Year + saving loved ones + adorable child transmigrates + making up for regrets]

Her father is a one-armed hero, her mother a one-eyed army doctor, and her grandfather a revolutionary veteran with a crippled leg.

Born into a family of heroes, Niuniu looks at the cold military medals covering the wall and has just one wish: to protect her family.

When she touches her grandmother’s memorial portrait, she unexpectedly travels back to 1937. Seeing her young grandfather, vigorous and dashing, she bursts into tears and throws herself at him.

“Grandpa, Niuniu will protect you!”

These are not mere childish words, but a vow she will keep with her life!

When Grandpa’s guerrilla unit runs out of food for two days, she secretly trades for “immortal rations,” bringing the soldiers to tears.

When one of Grandpa’s comrades is critically ill with a high fever, she produces the miracle drug “amoxicillin,” bringing him back from the brink overnight.

When Grandpa and his comrades are trapped by the Japanese in a mountain temple, she fights back tears and spends every last point to summon the Kitchen God, all so Grandpa can survive!

On her five-year-old shoulders, she carries the hopes of the entire unit, becoming the soldiers’ one and only “little lucky star.”

But the countdown to the lives she saves through bloodshed must eventually run out. Can she hold on long enough to save the smiling, radiant woman named Su Haitang, her grandmother?

Can those little, fragile hands rewrite the tragic fate of this family of martyrs?
