[Game development + mastermind behind the scenes + livestream antics + the entire internet in tears + no heroine]
After transmigrating into the “absolutely rational” world of 2250, where humanity has removed its emotions to eliminate war and become machines incapable of joy or sorrow, terminally ill Chen Ge must collect human emotional energy to stay alive. So a studio called “Glimmer” appears out of nowhere. Faced with countless stone-faced players, Chen Ge gives them a benevolent smile:
“Relax, everyone. This is a therapeutic game designed to help you sleep. It’s good for your health, and it’s suitable for all ages.”
On the first day, streamer Ma Dashao sees River die on-screen and makes a bold declaration: “There’s no way this pixelated game can make me cry!”
On the second day, pharmacies across the internet run out of fast-acting heart pills.
On the third day, countless players gather outside Chen Ge’s building with knives, shouting, “You old schemer! Give us Ellie back! Give us Arthur back!”
From the beautiful poignancy of To the Moon to the mech romance of Titanfall;
from Cyberpunk’s desperate cries to NieR’s save-file sacrifice.
Chen Ge: “I really am trying to heal you.”
Players: “Shut up, you liar! I’m begging you, stop killing off characters! I’ll cry, okay?”
This is the story of a game that reshapes human emotions, while also making the whole world cry itself into intensive care.
It's quite creative. It's a novel with a special theme that I read. It was a bit boring at first, and the people and things that happened in it felt a bit strange. As a world with a rational background, everything relies on the most perfect calculation. However, as a rational person, they actually insult others. I think they are "stupid people" in their eyes. You are rational. You also know that insulting is a waste of time and breath. What benefits does it do to yourself? But if I really want to compare the details, then I can also think of it, that is, they have not lost that emotion, but this emotion is actually insulting others + malicious speculation? Shouldn't we rationally analyze the behavior of the heroine in that story? What's the benefit? What are the disadvantages? Confused? In a rational world, is there only evil in my eyes? Is extreme rationality actually evil? I think people in this world rely on calculations to feel superior (to people who are not the same as them). Of course, maybe I haven't read it long enough. This is just my feeling after reading about a dozen chapters.
It's good. It's the absolute rationality that is not reflected later. In fact, you don't need to write an absolutely rational worldview, but just be more rational. Sparse, overall evaluation: It's a barely watchable history, but it's over once you finish reading it, and then stop reading. I may be a bit harsh, but if you are interested, just take a look.
I took a rough look at it and found it to be quite well written. The problem lies in the emotional setting. Players and viewers starting from "To the Moon" were not "rational" enough from the beginning - personally, I think pure rationality should be like an index finger following instructions (I'm talking about the index finger in the library. I haven't played Prison Bus much, so I don't know the current setting). By the way, will you write a trilogy of moon plans (Lobotomy Company, Ruined Library and Border Bus)? I feel that the worldview of this book is in urgent need of treatment by Seed of Light.
Great, big new books are also my favorite books to read, hahahaha, I am really lucky. It's just that there are a little less people following now, not enough to watch Smecta~(。>∀<。)
The whole book is very interesting. The protagonist Chen Ge relies on making games to inspire people's emotions under rational education. The characters and plots in the game are deadly, and there are even situations where players are tricked into killing them. Players who have just started playing the game will be "sanctioned" no matter what their mentality is when they play the game. The reaction after playing is also vivid and rich, and the blades are sent to the protagonist's home. But even though they were stabbed through thousands of holes with knives, they were still fooled over and over again to play the game played by Chen Singer. All in all, it's very beautiful and I like it very much. Please keep updating the author. I will always support your ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
It's so beautiful. I cried from beginning to end. I was really helpless.
Puella Magi Madoka Magica Portable Edition is also a game [smile]
The plot is quite touching, thank you for the author👊🏻
It's very interesting, but it's a pity that the author still couldn't finish writing the games mentioned in the introduction. I was confused about why, but after looking at the reviews, I found out that there were only more than a hundred reviews. The reading volume is too low. I hope the author will continue to work hard for the next book 😢
How on earth did you find such a niche game? I can't guess the plot at all. I can only say it's interesting.
