“A newcomer hoping for a few readers”
The gods descend. With data and neon, I’ll restart the ancient formations of Huaxia for you!
In a parallel world, the “Great Rift” tears open the sky, and so-called “higher-dimensional gods” descend upon the world. Western nations quickly become the gods’ pastures, while “divine mecha,” combining technology and godlike power, run rampant. Only Huaxia holds on by relying on its ancient “Great Wall Defense Line,” becoming the last “godless land” on Earth. Yet it faces the desperate prospect of crumbling faith and enemies closing in from all sides.
Su Ming is an old monster who has lived three lifetimes. In his first life, he was an ordinary person. In his second, he was a powerful cultivator, skilled in schemes and formations. In this life, he arrives reborn in this cyberpunk wasteland, where spiritual energy is toxic, bearing the computational power of an Immortal Emperor’s divine consciousness. He’d intended to keep a low profile, pass through as a detached observer of this collapsing world, and be a refined egoist.
But in this life, his ordinary yet warmhearted parents, and his silly, chubby friend who gets bullied for standing up for him, become the softest “stones mending the heavens” in his Daoist heart.
“I only meant to pass through, but the warmth of this world cuts too deep.”
If he can’t stay out of it, then he’ll give this world a little taste of the shock of cultivation. Who says you need spiritual energy to set up a formation? Su Ming nudged his glasses up his nose and smiled the sly smile of an old schemer. In his eyes, this neon-lit steel jungle was nothing but a vast chessboard. The city’s power grid could become meridians, skyscrapers could serve as formation cores, and torrents of data could be turned into spiritual energy, all guided into peerless killing formations.
This is the story of an old cultivator delivering a “dimensional smackdown” in a cyberpunk world, and a passionate legend about protection and the rebuilding of faith.
