The Cyber Judge

In Night City, megacorporations are the law, and data is everything. Lu Li is a young man reduced to a junkyard nobody after a failed implant of the “Eye of Karma.” Every day, he struggles through excruciating nerve pain.

Until he discovers that his ruined body lets him see the “data sins” hidden deep within others. Every betrayal, act of greed, and atrocity that has gone unjudged appears as visible code. More terrifying still, he can pass judgment on these sins directly: delete an enemy’s bank account with a single click, rewrite their citizenship status to “deceased,” or permanently link a murderer’s senses to their victim’s memories.

“In the cyber world, death is a luxury. And I sentence you to eternal torment.” Starting with the hyenas who clean up the junkyard and moving on to the dark tentacles of the corporations, Lu Li walks the depths of the data abyss, becoming the one all data criminals fear most: the Cyber Judge.
