Deep-Sea Corpse Oil

The zombie apocalypse breaks out, and the land becomes hell.

Lin Zhou, a former engineer, is trapped aboard a ten-thousand-ton cargo ship. While others scramble to survive on land, he transforms the entire vessel into humanity’s last fortress.

They grow vegetables on the upper deck and refine oil below.

And their fuel comes from the grotesque zombies in the sea.

When a self-righteous do-gooder calls him heartless and the crew retches in terror, Lin Zhou calmly presses a button and watches the lights, powered by corpse oil, flicker back on.

“The useful live. The useless die.”

“On my ship, reason is the only god.”

Until one day, they spot the shadow of another ship on the distant horizon through a telescope...

This is a hard-edged epic about rekindling the spark of civilization in the abyss of despair, with nothing but ingenuity and steel.
