Song-Era Miracle Worker

Lin Qingyao, a 26-year-old surgeon, is transported to the Northern Song Dynasty after a surgical accident. She has no golden finger, only her modern medical skills and an unyielding heart.

From the start, she is destitute and sick, with no clear identity, and faces relentless discrimination against women practicing medicine. She struggles to survive among the common folk, secretly treating patients under the label of “strange, unorthodox arts.” Time and again, she turns the tide with modern surgery and sterilization methods, curing countless difficult and unusual illnesses and gradually making a name for herself.

Her medical skills astonish the open-minded scholar Su Shi, who happens to pass through. Defying the opposition, he recommends her to the Imperial Medical Bureau. But the conservative, stubborn Imperial Physician Li sees her as a heretic and makes life difficult for her at every turn, even deliberately assigning her patients with incurable diseases.

With a cool head and exceptional medical skills, Lin Qingyao overcomes one crisis after another. When an epidemic ravages the land, she proposes innovative measures to stop its spread and saves a million lives. In the end, she wins everyone's respect, even that of her former rivals. She finds her own worth in the Northern Song and, with her scalpel and compassionate heart, completely transforms the medicine of her era, writing a legend of her own as a woman!
