The Ghost Tomb Expedition

[Tomb Raiding + Suspense + Adventure] After leaving the army, Hu Bayi took on a mysterious job: a map of nine dragons, the character “official,” and fifty musty banknotes. His buddy Wang Pangzi took one look at the map and turned pale. “Lao Hu, this is Zhu Yuanzhang’s Nine Dragons Pulling a Coffin! Nobody who goes in ever makes it out!”

In the dead of night, on a barren mountain, nine dragon veins encircled a lone grave where not a blade of grass grew. A crack opened by itself, and a voice neither human nor ghost called from within: “I’ve been waiting for you for six hundred years.”

The ghost soldiers marched, corpse beetles swarmed, and something inside the bronze coffin opened its eyes. This time, they weren’t just after burial treasures. They also had to retrieve a death sentence in the form of an “appointment letter” from an underworld government office that had waited six hundred years.

At the brink of life and death, Hu Bayi clutched his tomb-raiding talisman and remembered his grandfather’s words: “Some coffins must not be opened. Some offices must not be taken.”
