Synopsis

No pairings in the main story, with a slight everyone-loves-them vibe Mainly Touken Ranbu, with My-HiME and Bungo Stray Dogs. There may also be crossovers with sports anime, and other characters might make guest appearances. The timeline is a mess. Later on, I may write only Touken Ranbu. Twins, sharing one excessively beautiful face: platinum-blond hair, emerald eyes, and the same unhealthy pallor. Their only difference is a beauty mark beneath the eye. The older brother has his on the left, the younger sister on the right, like commas casually sketched by fate. They are polite, excel in their studies, and look so good that everyone sees them as model students without a flaw. That is, unless you’ve caught a glimpse of a scene like this: Xiao Yu in a dress, Xiao Yu in men’s clothes. When you can’t help asking, “So which one of you is the boy and which is the girl?” they both turn around at once, smiling like cats playing with their prey. “Take a guess?” x2 It’s one of their favorite games. They’re clever, sharp-tongued, and not very athletic, but good at fighting. They can embarrass you in a hundred different ways, then make you feel that being teased was only natural in a hundred and one more. Until one day, someone asks a question they can’t answer. For the first time, both little foxes are stumped at once, biting their lips and staring blankly. Then they exchange a smile. “What a boring question,” says the older brother. “We have things to do. We’ll be off,” the younger sister adds. As they turn away, they exchange a look only the two of them understand: what to make of this person who asked the question, and how they should “get along” from here on out.
