The Obsessive Immortal Venerable Falls for Me

Shen Zhiwei, the number one beauty of Lingxiao Sect, has cultivated for eighty years and is still only at Foundation Establishment.

The immortal sects consider her a mere ornament, mocking her for having peerless beauty but not an ounce of strength.

She had long grown used to it, until the day she found a young man at the bottom of the Sword-Washing Pool.

The young man, Xie Wuwang, was gravely injured and had lost his memory, yet his talent was terrifying and his cultivation advanced by leaps and bounds.

He became her disciple, treated her with reverence, protected her, and cherished her in the palm of his hand.

And imprisoned her in a cage.

"Master, the wind is strong outside. Don't catch a chill."

"Master, that man has bad intentions. Stay away from him."

"Master, I'm the only one in this world who can protect you, so don't ever think of leaving."

Shen Zhiwei gradually realized that every trace of spiritual power she possessed came from the same source as his.

Every time she tried to escape, he easily found her and brought her back.

Until disaster befell the immortal sects. His crimson eyes stained with blood and his vicious sword sweeping across the sky, he tore off his disguise before everyone and dragged her into a realm that belonged to him alone.

Only then did she learn that he was the reincarnation of an ancient vicious sword, burdened with the destiny of destroying the world.

And she was the spirit of the divine artifact that alone could suppress the vicious sword.

His imprisonment of her was a barrier built from overwhelming murderous energy, which obscured the secrets of heaven and kept the Heavenly Dao from erasing her.

"Do you hate me, Master?" He pinned her against a jade pillar in White Jade Capital, his breath scorching. "Even if you do, you can only stay by my side."

Shen Zhiwei looked at her disciple, whose obsession ran to the bone, as the mirror patterns on her palm blazed with light.

Suddenly, she smiled.

Later, the Heavenly Dao unleashed a purifying tribulation of calamity, and the immortal sects joined forces to hunt them down.

She broke free of her seal in his arms, and the mirror's light swept through the Three Realms.

"Xie Wuwang," she said, taking hold of the hand that wielded his sword and turning to face the hostility of the whole world. "From now on, I will bear your sins with you."
