Hidden Storm: Shadows of the Anti-Japanese Spies

[A top-secret file sealed away by history, a pair of lovers in the world of espionage who pledge their lives to each other amid the chaos of war]

In 1937, on the eve of the Battle of Shanghai, undercurrents churned through the city. Li Longhua, the Chinese Communist Party's ace agent known as "Deep Sea," had infiltrated the very heart of the Kuomintang's Bureau of Investigation and Statistics. Then, in a single night, his contact defected and the organization collapsed, leaving him an "island" with no one to vouch for him.

To survive this desperate situation, he had to pose as a couple in a marriage of convenience with Lin Mengsheng, a female agent from the Military Statistics Bureau whose identity was shrouded in mystery. She was as gentle as water, yet might be an enemy ready to raise a gun beside him at any moment. He was cold and calculating, yet could not stop himself from protecting her when their lives were on the line.

The Bureau's suspicions, the Military Statistics Bureau's schemes, the Special Higher Police's pursuit, the web of traps laid by 76... With danger lurking at every turn, the two struggled between testing and using each other, wavering between lies and true feelings. Meanwhile, a shocking conspiracy known as "Black Dragon," powerful enough to bring China to its knees, was slowly coming to light with every beat of their hearts.

This was a waltz danced in the heart of the enemy, every step along a precipice. When faith and love pulled in opposite directions, how could he protect his country while also safeguarding this forbidden flower blooming amid the smoke of war?
