The Tomb Raider Official

In 197 AD, Cao Cao established five secret offices to raise funds for his army: the Dragon-Seeking General, the Mound-Opening Vice General, the Mountain-Moving Commander, the Gold-Touching Colonel, and the Tomb-Relocating Sima. He personally led these five extraordinary men in robbing the tomb of Prince Liang Xiao, where they found enough treasure to support an army for three years. But they accidentally took a Qin-era jade cong that had been suppressing the ley lines. From that moment, a thousand-year-old menace sealed beneath Mount Li by Qin Shi Huang began to awaken.

Two thousand years later, the modern heirs to the five titles are forced to assemble:

Wang Tian, the Dragon-Seeking General, carries a red-gold compass and can read the stars to locate tombs;

Tang Sheng, the Mound-Opening Vice General, wields the Heavenly Official Seal and excels at breaking mechanisms and suppressing evil;

Zhu Chongba, the Mountain-Moving Commander, has the strength to split mountains and wears heavy armor capable of withstanding a thousand jun;

Sun Xiaokong, the Gold-Touching Colonel, wears a tomb-raiding talisman and is nimble at searching for treasure;

Shasha, the Tomb-Relocating Sima, carries an ancient mirror etched with mysterious patterns and handles appraising and fencing artifacts.

The debt their ancestors incurred has finally come due. The jade cong’s power is nearly spent, and the “existence” beneath the First Emperor’s mausoleum is about to break free. The five must venture deep into the ultimate tomb, which has never been opened. They are not there to steal its treasures, but to mend the rift left behind two thousand years ago.

This time, they must face more than traps and poisoned terracotta warriors. They must confront an ancient, awakened karmic force. What they don’t know is that Cao Cao may have created these five offices because he foresaw this very day…
